Preface 

It´s the intention of the Forstsamendarre Jatznick, after having finished sanitation and rebuilding in early summer 2007, to preserve the facilities and to keep the production - also as a show-manufactory - alive.

In the kiln as a "Place of communication, teaching and meeting“ content of forest production, wood-economy, agriculture and nature protection will be imparted.

The management concept lays down two spheres of activity:

1. Work up and storage of seeds - (market analysis / forecast / production and marketing of seeds and statistic registration / documentation by seed-controlbooks and stock certification); 
2. Touristic use - (organisation and co-ordination / field of action - draisine-track (1.5 km) with two handlever-draisines / fields of information - permanent exhibition: fossils, development of the earth´s flora, processes of seedproduction / historic buildings: drying-kiln and storehouse / dendrologic garden and herbarium / alternative heating-systems / energy production with local raw materials).
